Why cell number databases charge a fee

Is it really possible to run a free mobile number search on the world wide web? Many people have been disappointed or frustrated in the past with sites that appear to offer free products online, but in actuality don’t. Is this the case for the cell phone search?

To begin we will explain what we mean by a phone number search. If you have a home phone number but no idea who the number belongs to. You may use a number lookup service like Yellowbook to see the details. This can be very useful in situations where you lost contact with someone but still have their phone number, or simply to see who owns the phone number. There are many places where you can make these business and residential phone inquiries online queries at no cost, including fax numbers.

Unfortunately, a problem arises when you need to do a reverse lookup on a cell phone as the free listings don’t list such phone numbers. So, if you’re trying to find an Alabama cell number you will have a problem. These directories do not contain cell phone numbers as this information is only in the hands of carriers and telecommunications companies. Do these records exist & are they free?

The good news is that there are websites that offer a large number of cell phone numbers, but they are not free. These programs of course need to pay a price to gain access to some of this information, and go to the trouble and expense of obtaining all resources in one location and therefore, you must pay a small fee for access to their research. Often times though, the cost is generally a single purchase and you can run as many searches as you want. These records usually include cell owner details, address history, carrier information, and the phone type and connection status. It should also be noted that the databases offered by individual companies differ to some extent, but most include cell phones, residential, business, fax, toll-free and pagers. With these sites your queries are guaranteed legal & confidential.

We have seen web sites claiming to provide free cell research, but that has always led to programs charging a price in the end. Some do allow people to search for free and then see the results. The sad truth is that the only place where you will find detailed reverse cell records is within the legitimate paid directories. In conclusion, cell phone searches are not free. That being said, if you really want to access these records, we think that it is worth the small cost.
